NEWS JUNE '06
On the 27th of May, Sensei Hibbs attempted his Rokudan (6th Dan) grading at Shihan Graham Slater’s (Chairman of the I.M.A.) dojo in Box Hill. It was a gruelling 2 hour grading and Sensei passed with flying colours. He has now earned the title “Shihan”. Congratulation Shihan Hibbs.
Sempai Linda had her grading for her Sandan (3rd Dan) black belt on the 4th June. It was a long and tiring grading and Sempai Linda showed her exemplary understanding of the “art.” She passed the grading and has now earned the title “Sensei.” Congratulations Sensei Linda.
Shihan and Sensei would like to say “thank you” to all those black belts who helped them out with their gradings and partnering them for their techniques.
